Riverside Community Centre is an independent Charity offering, Community Resources, Training Opportunities, Internet Cafe, Community facilities, Professional and Private Room Hire for Conferences, Meetings – Community Groups – Internet Access free with Training Facilities for local Schools and Business and much much more.

Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) is the biggest form of income for RCRT . Currently there are 8 SLA’s in operation, these include:

  • Little Explorers Pre School and Nursery

Outstanding Ofsted graded childcare facility.

Provision of support, information and advice to more than a quarter of a million disabled people and the families.

  • Active Lives Network

A Gravesend based user-led charity for adults with physical disabilities, promoting independence through activity focused day centre.

  • TDLC Ltd

One of the leading providers of bookkeeping and payroll qualifications working both the Government and commercial sectors.

  • Gravesham Foodbank

Trussell Trust/Gravesham Foodbank provides a minimum of three days emergency food and support to people experiencing crisis in the UK.

Provision of advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem campaigning to improve services, raise awareness and promoting understanding.

Working towards a future of sustainable communities which are vibrant, healthy and safe, which respect the local and global environment and where individuals and enterprise can prosper.

Carers Choice is a not-for-profit charity established to make a positive difference to the lives of Carers and Adults with Learning Disabilities through individual tailored support. The Charity recognises that historically Carers have often been excluded and disadvantaged in the community and seeks to raise the profile and promote understanding of the caring role.

  • DGS Pulmonary Rehabilitation Service

Highly experienced chartered physiotherapists, specialist rehabilitation assistants and respiratory counsellors. Tailored programmes of exercise for people with moderate to severe lung disease, which aims to improve exercise tolerance, reduce symptoms and a patient’s disability


General room hire for casual use, training and meetings is a vital part of RCRT’s operation making up 32% of RCRT’s total income. All RCRT staff recognises that it is imperative that there is exceptional customer care. Specific attention will be paid to the room package: suitable rooms, equipment, catering and refreshments so that users will receive everything that they require from their booking all under one roof.
